I'm so proud of my cousin Nathan Hale. Our family has always thought the whole world should be able to enjoy his art. Now that he has a handful of children's books under his belt it looks like he may be on his way. The folks who produced the movie "Night in the Museum" have purchased the film rights to my favorite book of his, "The Devil You Know."
Now just in time for the holidays is The Dinosaur Before Christmas. It comes with a CD narrated by Al Roker. Here's a link to the book trailer.

What darling books!! I collect Children's Christmas books (get a new one each year) and I just went and ordered this one. TOO cute! I also ordered "The Devil You Know". This is one of my FAVORITE sayings! My Grandpa used to say it all the time. I'll never forget the day that I realized how true this was, when I was in the Navy and was so relieved one boss was leaving, only to discover his replacement was a nightmare! This book sounds awesome. I look forward to reading it to my kids.
OK, Amazon just delivered and "The Devil You Know" is just a riot! We keep turning back to our favorite pictures and laugh uncontrollably. No wonder they bought the movie rights! This will be a great movie!
