Tal Graduates!

It was pretty surreal going through the last-week-of-6th-grade festivities for Tal. Here he is at the party at Laird park that is soaked by the firemen every year. Being across the street from our house we've watched always watched it.. It was hard to believe Tal was one of those big kids who were done with Elementary school!

The 6th Graders dressed up 1940s style (they'd been studying World War II) and sang there songs for us. I didn't include the pictures where Talmage was wiping his tears away. I thought it was because he was done with 6th grade. No, it was because his dumb parents were sitting in the wrong place in the audience. He'd told us a week before that we were supposed to sit on the right side in the back, so when he and his dance partner Amanda Sanders (cutie to his right) came to dance in the audience we would be able to see him. Well we moving that day and rushed over to see the program between loads and I forgot that important detail. 

Talmage with his Resource teacher, Karen Bell. She had him for three years.
