We celebrated Jack's day in the usual fashion. It looks much like last year, but he's just a little bit bigger, crazier and more lovable.
And then here we are at Red Robin at the end of the day. Jack already had a monstrously large double-bacon cheese burger and a mountain of fries. From the look on his face he's really not up for eating that brownie too!
What a great boy Jack is. He is as kind as he is handsome and thats a lot! He is such a good brother to Trace. He gets Trace to school and back every day, storing Trace's scooter with his and bringing it to the door of his classroom, then guiding him down the hall with his hand on Trace's shoulder. How do I know? I've spied one him a couple of times.
Jack's mind is bursting with curiosity and creativity. He is always inventing things and drawing intricate diagrams of how they work. His piano teacher says, "I love the way you think! You remember me because I know someday you're going to be famous!" The neighbors have used the words "famous" to describe Jack too. All of the little kids want to come over and play with Jack. He's pretty special. We love our Jack.

Yes, that Jack is special!! I love the description of him taking trace under his wing. That's a good brother. And sort of a natural nurturer. A good pet owner too. I feel like I have a special bond with your boys because I'm basically raising one :-) Luke reminds me so much of a Cresap boy. Smart and handsome and sweet and tough all rolled in one. Happy birthday Jack!
