Gingerbread Houses







Thanks again to the Schauerhamers for giving us our first experience with homemade gingerbread houses! Gianetta gave me the recipe and it was not as hard as I thought it'd be. You roll the dough out on a foil-lined greased sheet just like bar cookies. Half-way through the baking you cut out the pattern--so fuss free! I loved the meringue frosting that looked so much like snow. Thanks for the new tradition guys!

"Who's that nibbling on my house?" Maybe I'll ditch the kit next year. They look fun and festive.

Looked great! We still do the graham cracker with hot glue guns.....
