The smallest arches we found!

Do you see the George Washington face in the pillar above? Do ya? Do ya?
On the way to Landscape Arch, the largest arch in the park at 306 feet.

Peponi!

Crossing the Colorado River

Woot woo!

Hallway to Sandstone Arch. I think it should be called Sandbox Arch. They are ALL sandstone! :)

Trace had a fever and was freezing!
Here he is with two coats on and Dad's warm shoulders.

The pictures below are from the Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trail, which had 15 sites where dinosaur fossils stuck right out of the face of the hillside!

A femur.
A vertebra

A pack rat's nest, of special interest to Jack, our lover of all things rodent.
Cross-sections of leg bones
Rib bones
A pertrified log that made a cool alcove in the hillside.
At the Copper Ridge Dinosaur Trackway we saw large Therapod tracks...

and, very rare, Sauropod tracks! These are from a Camarasaurus.
Maddy and Trace are standing in between the four footracks of the Camarasaurus as if they are under it's belly!

A good time was had by all! Lots of blue skies, cool temps and good company!
