Can you imagine waking up in the morning and finding that someone had planted gorgeous flowers in your yard? That's what it's been like for us. Our home's previous owners planted many perrenials and about once a week we get a new lovely surprise.
The Spring here in Tennessee has been so thrilling (in part because it followed our first winter in 8 years). I haven't been this bowled over by beauty since I was a child in Huntsville. Beauty is so good for the heart. It has me wishing we could stay here forever--or for at least two tours, a Navy definition of forever.

beautiful! we are finding the same lovely surprises in our yard, it's delightful!
I know what you mean about rediscovering an appreciation of natural beauty. After the winter we just had even the dandylions look pretty to me.
Everything looks gorgeous!
New flowers are always exciting! What a pretty place. We've got to come visit!
What a lovely post! Way to put a plug in there for the beauty of Tennessee! Thank goodness we like you guys enough to follow you here. Now, if we could get a few surprises in our yard... besides the surprise of how a sand box can turn into a jungle in few weeks. :-)
Man I love those flowers. I wish I would remember to plant some bulbs like tulips and daffodils. I have some great perenials that come about mid summer, but now Spring lovelies. We are going to be so sad to miss you all. Guess we'll have to come there.
Beautiful! Beautiful!
