Tal has been protesting for months that, when he turned 8, he did NOT want to do Scouts. "It's a want, not a need Mom." "You can get a job in this world without being a Scout, Dad."- Then he went the first time and they blew a cork sky high out of a gun that was powered by baking soda and vinegar. He's hooked. We went to the scout store and picked up this dapper outfit. He just had to have the hat too. Mom mixed up the time on week 2 and got Tal there when it was all over. He was not pleased. So this week as we were getting ready to go he said words that have never before come out of his mouth in his entire life. "Hurry, Mom! We're going to be late! We don't have time for pictures! Get in the car!" Life does keep on getting better.

Newest Scout on the Block

what a drastic change huh? it's so weird that he didn't want to go cause it sure seems to suit him! :-)

I LOVE that! Isn't great to find things that your kids love to do. He looks great in his uniform!
I'm so jealous of boy scouts. Girls scouts was complete nonsense, and I quit as soon as I could.
