That Cole

I had to note some great Cole-isms of late.
Last Saturday Morning.
Cole: Mom, can we play the Wii? We haven't played with anything electrical today. (So he's heard my message about not too much digital entertainment: TV, computer, video games. But not sure if the message is clear.)

The other night while reading a Bob book about a family with 10 kids.
Cole: 10 kids! That's AMAZING!
Mom: Cole, did you know that my Mom and Dad had ten kids?
Cole: Really? Was that a really long time ago?
Mom: Not really. You know there's Uncle Joey, and Uncle Mike and Aunt Kate, Malan's Mom and Aunt Edith, Anderson's Mom and...
Cole interrupting: Mom, you don't have to say all that.
Hhmmmm...I'm thinking we live too far away from family if relatives are such an abstract subject talking about them is like "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah..."
